Designer JJ Valaya ends Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week on a high note with a beautiful collection. JJ Valaya's garments are always 'couture of pret' and that's what this collection showcases. By and large it's a show with international flavor with hugely indian sensibilities.
JJ Valaya said "Every designer has a signature look and within the parameter of the look the designer evolves and we can't suddenly do something different. This collection is inspired by the Azrak empire and the various arts and crafts of that time."
With the colour palette ranging from ivory to warmer winter shades, the collection combines contradictory fabrics with embroideries in a very controlled form.
The show ends with Indian-esque fusion silhouettes and the sari, but not in it's traditional avatar. The focus was really on the silhouette and the print to create a look that's rooted in the past but very relevant today.
We are showcasing some of the work of the collection which we feel inspire to-be weds for a ideal dress at their wedding.
